Next, I thought that I would post what curriculum I am using for my senior year of high school. We started a couple of weeks ago with school and I've been really liking my senior year, even though it's...well, um, hard?

- I'm doing a Study of Proverbs for Bible.
This particular study is really interesting and I love digging deeper into the Proverbs as they are one favorite books of the Bible. - Business Math
I am not one of those 'math people', actually I hate math. But last year I did consumer math, and I'm ending my school years off with business. Something practical and easy to work with. - Anatomy
I'm not a science person either. But when I was finished with my science credits in 10th grade, I decided to pick some fun science courses that I was actually going to like! I did Marine Biology last year (which rocked!) and this year I'm doing a study of the human body. Loving it so far too. - Greek
I've tried to do a couple of different languages and have really disliked all of them. I prefer English. :) But I like Greek. - Lord of the Rings Study (all the books)
I wasn't sure what I was going to think of this particular study because I don't really like fantasy books that much. But as soon as I started the book I was completely drawn in by it, and am loving the books! I am still in the first one but can't wait to see what's going to happen in the books to come! - Mystery of History: Volume 1
We've already done this when I was in maybe 8th grade. But this time around, I'm doing the teaching (reading it to Gracie and myself). I love the way the book is set up and it's easy enough to understand that I don't sit in front of the book and go 'uh, what?' - Critical Thinking
This is more of just an extra.

My own 10th grader and 7th grader are studying The Lord of the Rings this year for literature, and we are also studying ancient history. I think LOTR complements a study of ancient history well. :)
Have a great senior year, Ashley! :)
So you're liking Lord of the Rings, eh? I never thought I'd hear you say that! ;) I'm glad you like them so far. This is very awesome indeed.
I hope you continue to like them as time goes on. :P What part are you at, do you know?
I'm not a math and science person either! I did like consumer math though, and the human body is my favorite science to study. We are like twins or something ;-)
